Overview

The Catalog Manager's primary focus is to oversee the day-to-day management of the catalog team. The individual in this role requires strong people management skills and focuses on mentoring and growing individuals. This person will also have a clear vision for balancing workloads, adjusting scope of work, and succession planning to ensure the team is operating with high efficiency as external factors evolve. Strong knowledge in Amazon all areas of the Amazon catalog and enhanced content systems for Seller Central and Vendor Central is required for this role, as this person is also responsible for assisting with task escalations and training. Employee retention is a primary goal of this role.

Essential Functions:

  • Assisting catalog team members with day-to-day Amazon catalog tasks
  • Assessing and evolving the brand assignments
  • Assessing and evolving individual workloads
  • Projects that contribute to the culture, vision, and change management.
  • Running an internal training program
  • Cross-departmental collaboration
  • Learning and adopting new tools (such as project management and PIM tools)
  • Client interaction on special projects

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Ability to add and edit content in the Amazon Seller Central catalog
  • Ability to add and edit content in the Amazon Vendor Central catalog
  • A+ Content, Brand Store creation and editing
  • Working knowledge of Brand Registry
  • Experience managing people and teams, giving feedback
  • Experience training individuals
  • Track record of embracing change, adopting new tools, and general ability to evolve.
