Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversees the procurement process of Rice/Pulses/Flour/Dry Fruits/Sugar.

• Will be responsible for overall profitability of the commodities category 

• Will be responsible for end to end process of unbranded and branded range of overall commodities portfolio. 

• Manages day to day business of the fulfillment while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as business analysis, vendor management, quality assurance.

• Works with cross functional teams to help set and meet daily and quarterly goals.

• Works closely with Platform Manager on timely execution of stock receiving/ deliveries. 

• Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.

• Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.

• Collaborates with other category teams to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values.

• Collaborates with transitions and onboarding teams as needed.

• Assesses a variety of situations and provides clarity to team and stakeholders.

• Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with vendors, internal business lines.

• Solicits and responds to feedback while gaining commitment and support.

• Manage Transport vendors and their billing. 

• Works closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance to regulatory-based best practices.

Requirements:

Masters or atleast graduate degree and must have 5 plus years of hands on experience related with commodities. 

Must have excellent communication/interpersonal, negotiation skills.
