As the Category Manager, you will participate in developing and implementing the procurement strategies in alignment with overall business objectives. This role will focus on developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships as well as providing a broad-based perspective on specific procurement categories, sharing knowledge about marketplace environments, industry trends and supplier capabilities. You will contribute to crafting business value, find opportunities for value extraction from enterprise platforms (SAP, Tableau, Ariba etc), and implement processes to measure & analyze the value generated by enterprise platforms.

This position reporting to the Global Director of MTO Category Procurement, is responsible for developing and implementing a robust strategy for all assigned categories in Fort Worth, Texas!

Key Responsibilities:

• Enable the procurement of goods and services in the quantity and timing needed at the lowest total cost of ownership.
• Identify supplier or material innovation to share with the broader organization.
• Negotiate and complete supplier agreements.
• Drive the development and implementation of sophisticated analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning) to uncover hidden trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights for various collaborators.
• Cultivate and manage supplier relationships.
• Aggressively manage category price/inflation forecast to the budget.

Key Requirements/Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs).
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• 7 Years of Proven Experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and standard methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Ability to communicate sophisticated data insights to non-technical partners.
• Project management experience.
