We are seeking a Category Manager for New Verticals. Your mission? To scout and onboard fresh and exciting brands into our marketplace. If you have a keen eye for what's next in consumer trends and love the challenge of introducing new brands to a dynamic platform, this position is tailor-made for you. What You'll Be Doing:
● Brand Scouting: Proactively identify and recruit new and upcoming brands to expand our marketplace offerings.
● Market Insight: Stay ahead of consumer trends and leverage this knowledge to bring in brands that will excite our customers.
● Relationship Building: Develop lasting relationships with brand partners, ensuring their smooth integration and success on our platform.
● Strategy and Growth: Contribute to the strategic planning of new verticals, focusing on long-term growth and brand performance.
● Collaboration: Work alongside marketing and product teams to effectively showcase new brands and ensure their needs are met.
● Performance Monitoring: Keep track of new brand performances, providing insights and strategies for continuous growth and improvement.
Your Skills and Experience:
● Prior experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, especially in e-commerce or a marketplace setting.
● A sharp understanding of consumer goods and e-commerce trends.
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
● Comfortable with regular travel and adept at managing a fast-paced work environment.
● Proficiency in CRM systems, G Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
