The Category Specialist, CPG is a unique opportunity to

Identify, build, and execute strategies to drive growth, efficiencies, and best practices within the CPG and related markets, including commercial aspects of relevant partner companies.

In this role, the Category Specialist, CPG will drive critical and prioritized initiatives that support, in partnership with sales leadership, product management, marketing, R&D, and all required cross-functional teams, the necessary activities to improve our offering, go-to-market, and sales abilities within the CPG and related spaces.

The Category Specialist, CPG will have responsibilities including:

  • Identifying and executing priority projects to drive growth and improve the CPG and related markets' product portfolio and customer experience
  • Including process documentation and metric development, tracking and analysis
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders in marketing, product management, and sales to identify, test and refine customer value propositions
  • Developing and executing training plans relevant to the evolving commercial organization
  • Including skills assessment, gap analysis, and specialized selling skills development within the CPG and related spaces
  • Develops and evolves standard practices to support the end-to-end launch and sustainment of new and existing commercial partnerships
  • Collaborates with commercial leadership to build and support the velocity of funnel opportunities accelerated by new and existing partnerships in the CPG and related markets
  • Assists in the identification and management of strategic growth vectors that enhance & or extend our current product portfolio in the CPG and related markets
  • Positions commercial partnerships to support the acceleration of net new wins/account expansion opportunities for core Esko solutions (ACV Enablement)
  • Builds pricing models and revenue forecasts for partner opportunities

  • Understanding of packaging, graphics, and color processes and requirements within the CPG and related markets

Your Education and Background Experience will include the following:

  • 10+ years of proven track record in customer-facing roles (e.g., sales, technical sales)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience and exposure in SaaS or Enterprise software platform
  • Demonstrated communication skills, verbal and written, to create effective presentations to senior management
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively across cross-functional teams with competing priorities
