Seeking an experienced Senior Catering Manager who is able to provide efficient sales quotes for large events and lead technical operations at a higher education college. Good people skills and team building are important qualifiers. The ability to create a vision for high quality themed events as well as strong negotiating skills are important aspects of this role.

What You'll Do

• Hands on Higher Education catering experience
• Strong financial acumen
• Experience with both casual and fine dining catering/banquet management
• Knowledge of ethnic culinary cuisine themes
• Prior high volume catering service experience
• Knowledge of catering set up and execution

What You Bring

• Experience writing catering menus
• Knowledge coordinating and executing multiple events daily
• Experience with labor controls, managing catering inventory and using catering software
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• An ability to transform spaces and create an experience for guests

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
