Catheter Lab Technician 

Role Summary 

Our client seeks a Catheter Lab Technician to join their rapidly growing team. The Catheter lab Technician provides individualized, non-judgmental, non-discriminatory care to all patients, families, and staff, monitoring patient condition and assessing needs, and communicating and documenting all required details as per facility charting protocol. 

Key Results Area 

• Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, amongst others 

• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data 

• Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure 

• Assess and manage access site and inform physician 

• Adhere to on call protocol for the Cath lab 

• Prepare patients for their procedures 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Candidate must be a Licensed Radiologic Technologist 

• RCIS certification is preferred 

• BLS, ACLS, & IABP experience is required 

• Previous experience working in a Cardiac Cath lab is required 

• High School Diploma or GED is required
