CATT Knowledge Mgmt Manager Summary:

RSM US uses Microsoft Sharepoint as their web-based platform to collaborate and share documents across the firm. The Tax line of business is looking for a manager-level individual to assist the site collection business owner (SCBO) director in the management and maintenance of the Tax Services Intranet site collections and other knowledge management-related projects, such as the Microsoft power platform.

The SCBO manager will have a resource for knowledge surrounding the architecture of the collection and heavily involved in managing all associated projects, in addition to the overall quality assurance of the tax site content and processes.

Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Align with enterprise knowledge management (EKM) governance, architecture and design policies and procedures.
• Monitor document apps to maintain effective content management and improve user adoption.
• Review and correct quarterly permissions report.
• Assist the SCBO director in the redesign and migration of the tax intranet.
• Monitor incoming issues and perform error identification, investigation, resolution, and escalation to EKM and IT as needed.
• Collaborate with the communications team, Center for Advanced Tax Technology (CATT), and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Provide training and support to team site and project site owners and end-users as needed.
• Write and develop technical documentation or guidance on using the tax intranet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience required.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Understands basic principles of knowledge management.
• Can work in a matrix reporting structure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter.
• Project management leadership skills.
• Ability to think analytically to solve complex problems and issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Forms or equivalent.
• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred qualifications

• Advanced experience using SharePoint Online, Classic and Modern.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Apps, Automate and BI).
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and DNS.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CardioLog or equivalent.
• Experience in a knowledge management role.
• Public accounting or other professional services experience.
