Job Description

Bazaarvoice seeks a talented business leader, ready to help shape and grow an exciting emerging marketing solution in APAC. Working closely with our APAC Sales organisation, strategic customers, and key global stakeholders, the Content & Creators (C&C) Lead will be responsible for driving revenue and market share for Bazaarvoice’s C&C solutions.

 

These solutions include programs to engage and sample products to consumers and influencers, driving ratings and reviews, photos, and social media posts for brands.

What you will be doing:

  • Sales 

  • ● Core focus of growing revenue for the APAC C&C business

    ● Responsible for meeting or exceeding APAC revenue quotas for APAC C&C business 

    ● Collaborate with sales to identify strategic accounts & opportunities

    ● Run effective internal and customer discovery, support craft proposals and help sellers move opportunities forward.

    ● Assist internal teams in client engagements to ensure relevant solution recommendations, long-term customer relationships, maximum profit margin, and potential for future business growth through value-based solution selling

    ● Educate and strategize with Marketing, Business Development and Sales teams to develop account plans and strategies to help drive C&C pipeline

    ● Oversee end-to-end customer lifecycle to ensure adoption of C&C solutions sold, and realisation of agreed business value and ROI

    ● Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and educate sales team in all aspects of C&C solutions

    ● Utilise sales processes and tools to manage APAC C&C book of business and provide timely and accurate forecasts

    ● Drive accountability, focus and visibility for our C&C solutions with internal and external stakeholders


  • Business Management 

  • ● Using knowledge of economic, market, and industry trends, as well as internal data, to identify growth opportunities for APAC C&C business

    ● Develop and drive local go-to-market strategy for APAC C&C business

    ● Monitor and improve business health metrics for APAC C&C business (such as rebuy rates, time-to-value, NPS, etc) 

    ● Determine the key business issues that might affect growth, efficiency, productivity and competitiveness of APAC C&C business

    ● Improve local pre-sales, sales and post-sales processes to drive business efficiency and customer satisfaction

    ● Collaborate with a wide set of functions in the C&C organisation, such as Product, Product Marketing, Delivery, and Insights, and advocate for local needs

    ● Document internal processes, key accounts knowledge, and learnings related to APAC C&C business, including the management of localised sales materials and customersuccess stories

    ● Manage a small number of strategic trials for C&C solutions, specifically for Social Commerce and Affable products


  • Thought Leadership

  • ● Raise market awareness of Bazaarvoice’s value proposition, specifically around the C&C solutions Influenster, Affable and Social Commerce through thought leadership (live educational sessions, workshops, webinars, and other marketing activity)

    ● Build and nurture relationships with brand managers, marketing, shopper marketing and digital teams across priority accounts

    ● Proactive drive collaboration with local and international teams


Necessary Skills and Experience:

  • Outstanding team player, with the ability to gain trust of internal partners to problem-solve and progress account vision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to conduct formal presentations with senior leaders, workshops and educational sessions
  •  Drive conversational discovery with customers to reveal pain points and requirements
  • Strong business acumen 
  • Strong understanding of typical enterprise buying cycles and processes 
  • Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve C&C growth objectives
  • Availability to travel within Australia and Asia Pacific for client meetings
  • 5+ years SaaS sales experience (in eComm or Social Marketing solutions)
  • Experience in successfully taking a new offer to market a plus
