CCIE Military Analyst (Israel C2)

Serves as the C2 technical subject matter expert for the planning and execution of the C2IP for Israel. Has a thorough understanding of the current communication architectures to support the various programs that facilitate interoperability between U.S. and Israel Armed Forces. Coordinate within DoD and non-DoD organizations to develop a coordinated USG response to Partner Nation questions, requests and activities and investments. When required, serve as the lead facilitator for the Command-and-Control Interoperability Board (CCIB) and Combined Interoperability Working Group (CIWG), and provide appropriate logistics support for visitors. Participate in select Interoperability related working groups and boards that tie-in with the CCIB and CIWG, and prepare flag-level Executive Summaries. Provide update briefs to the CCIB Co-Chair/Leadership, to include briefings to Flag Level and foreign partner senior representatives.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 10+ years relevant operational experience
• Advanced knowledge of Joint communications, SATCOM, communication architectures/networks
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse groups in solving complex problems 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Certification in one/all of these specific classes: SEAGULL/CENTCOM Partner Network (CPN), Security Cooperation On-line training; Defense Acquisition University classes (Technology Transfer and Export Control; Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR), International Armaments Cooperation (3 parts), Fundamentals of Technology Security/Transfer)
• Have a thorough understanding of policies, agreements, and security classifications that govern communications security (COMSEC), cyber security, to include systems used by Israel; as well as COMSEC modernization initiatives and programs. Know applicable DoD and DoD agency policies, including from CENTCOM. 

• Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility

• Master’s degree
• Joint Planning Process expertise, through real-world planning, preferably with multilateral C2 communications during architecture development, surge and retrograde operations
• Experience in integrating existing DoD policies into the planning process, to ensure bilateral plans comply with U.S. DoD Classified Military Information (CMI) security mandates
• Experience in leading small teams of subject matter experts in developing solutions to meet bilateral C2 requirements, or revising existing plans to re-orient roles and responsibilities
• Integrating operational planning at MAJCOM level with communications, logistics, and intelligence processes to craft redundant C2 architectures that align with execution of operations
• Operational familiarity with CENTCOM AOR
• Briefing, advising, and providing recommendations to Flag Officer/General Officer leaders/decision makers in a bilateral/multinational operational environment
