CCWIS Lead Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a CCWIS Lead Business Analyst to join our team in Washington DC, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).
Overview of job:
The Lead Business Analyst and Subject Matter Expert is responsible for providing Child Welfare business function expertise and will provide understanding of child welfare roles and staffing patterns in order to inform other project activities including daily QA / Test operations. Additionally, the Lead Business Analyst will lead, support, participate in and review the work of project team members to assure documentation and understanding of current business processes is accurate, and that identification of future business needs is correct and appropriate.
Job Responsibilities Include:• Relationship and expectation management including working daily with key client leadership• Develop, maintain, and manage to a project schedule; including ensuring the tasks are appropriately assigned and deadlines are being met• Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, communication plans, risk logs, issue logs, and other work products essential to effective project management of the QA team and QA / Test services• Ensure that all QA/Test processes and methodologies are executed and followed as applicable• Develop deliverables in accordance with project requirements and company documentation standards; submit to federal government (as required)• Ensure complete and accurate QA status reports• Review and assess project management plans and processes for the overall project (including, but not limited to risk management, schedule, and cost management, change management and issue resolution) for quality, completeness, compliance, and effectiveness• Identify, review, analyze, and document project risks and issues with specific metrics, triggers, mitigations, and recommendations through structured interviews, taxonomic and expert risk management meetings, practice compliance, lessons learned, and metric analysis• Communicate project status, risks and issues to the client and the Client Partner• Participate in project steering committee meetings, status meetings, and other stakeholder meetings as needed to discuss project status, reports, and recommendations
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience• Minimum 6 years of experience including:
- Minimum3+ years State Program experience
- Minimum3+ years Business Analyst Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Child Welfare IV&V Experience
Preferred Skills:• CCWIS knowledge• Ability to develop effective, positive working relationships with both internal and external contacts. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Working knowledge of MS Office products, e.g., Word, Excel, and online applications. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently.
