• Please read before applying • Competitive Pay: • Guaranteed 40 hours per week • Work Schedule: • Monday - Friday; between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. • Drivers will be assigned a consistent start time, ranging from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. • Occasional Saturday shifts; 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. (voluntary or rotational) • Home daily • Local Deliveries & Pickups: • Deliver freight within a 100-mile radius around Houston • Occasional inside deliveries using a pallet jack • Types of Freight: • Mostly P&D (pickup and delivery) • All drop & hook, • Some touch freight (15-20%) • Equipment & Special Requirements: • Primarily Dry Van trailers • Some Flatbed and straight truck work - must be comfortable pulling flatbed • TSA certification required for airport deliveries * • Guaranteed $1,397 per week, average earning of $1,570 per week (or $81,700 per year) • Starting pay: $34.93 per hour • Average 40-45 hours per week Job Requirements • Must live within a 75-mile radius * • Load freight - lift requirement: 80 lbs • Unload freight - lift requirement: 80 lbs • Move freight - force requirement: 54 lbs • Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs • Count freight Complete fuel tickets • Obtain sales leads • Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only) • Perform pre-trip inspections • Drive • Regular predictable attendance • Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle • Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level • Must have 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years • Must be 21 years of age or older • Drivers must have Class A CDL with TWIC • Must be willing to get TSA certification • No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years • No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years • No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years • No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality) • No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years • No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years • *401(k) Match Available *Paid Vacation *Health, dental, vision & life insurance Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $1,500.00 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Passenger ride along program • Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
