The Position
This position has the responsibility of working with associates and scientists to execute laboratory scale process development or validation studies in support of manufacturing development, or process troubleshooting, or scale-up.
This position is located in West Lebanon, New Hampshire and will require onsite work and collaboration. It is a full time (40 hours per week) position and the standard schedule is Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm), with weekends based on business needs.
Essential Functions

• Assist with the development, optimization and qualification of cell culture processes using appropriate laboratory tools such as bioreactors and other appropriate manufacturing equipment. Aseptic technique experience is a plus
• Troubleshoot manufacturing operations by assisting in conducting lab scale experiments and data analysis
• Complete routine documentation
• Maintain lab equipment and/or support maintenance and calibration events
• Perform housekeeping and area upkeep tasks on a routine basis
• Participate in cross functional teams focused on process optimization, manufacturing development, or quality control
• Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable
• healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
• Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others

Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required. May lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The ability to walk, finger, and grasp. The ability to talk and convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other works accurately, loudly, or quickly. Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers. Visual acuity to perform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analyzing; and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations.
Qualifications

• Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field required
• Work Experience:
  • One (1) year related experience preferred

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Direct experience with aseptic cell culture, process development, or protein purification required
  • Knowledge of GLP or GxP preferred
