Job Description

Position: CentOS to RHEL Migration

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Long Term Contract

you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless transition of enterprise systems from CentOS to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Leveraging your expertise in Linux environments and migration strategies, you will lead a dedicated team through planning, execution, and post-migration phases. Your responsibilities will encompass technical leadership, strategic planning, documentation, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders to ensure a successful migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive migration plan, considering technical dependencies, business requirements, and optimal downtime scenarios.
• Design migration strategies that align with industry best practices, ensuring minimal disruption to critical business operations.
• Lead and actively participate in the technical aspects of the migration process, overseeing system administrators and ensuring a smooth transition.
• Address and troubleshoot technical challenges encountered during the migration, implementing effective solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of CentOS and RHEL environments.
