Central Chef

Job Descriptions:

• Assist in building and enhancing consumer understanding of products.
• Develop and improve new recipes.
• Support activities related to product introduction and development such as events, PR, promotions, food photography, and cooking classes.
• Participate in interviews and research on customer taste and nutrition preferences.
• Provide culinary expertise for product analysis, market research, and evaluation.
• Stay updated on kitchen equipment, recipes, and culinary trends.
• Train the sales team on basic kitchen knowledge and food trends.
• Collaborate with the sales team to address customer inquiries.
• Introduce, analyze, and guide the sales team on various menu formats.
• Develop and update product application guides.
• Assist the Executive Chef in conducting cooking demonstrations showcasing product applications and creativity.
• Help establish culinary standards for new product development or improvement projects.
• Research and identify culinary trends to develop product applications.
• Prepare weekly reports and plans to support customer development and product marketing.

Job Requirements:

• Graduated from formal institutions in tourism, hospitality, culinary schools
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in restaurants or hotels in positions such as chef, sous chef, or supervisor.
• Good cooking and tasting skills.
• Ability to present and explain ideas clearly. Basic knowledge of product development.
• Fluent and clear communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (speaking and writing).
• Proficient in office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Preferably experienced in 4-5 star hotels.
