The Opportunity

We're seeking a vibrant Central Content Manager to join our dynamic team and spearhead the expansion of our online presence across various social platforms, focused on our Central region. While Bucket Listers is a remote-first company, this position will require the candidate to maintain residence in Chicago USA. 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead strategy and creation for our content channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Email Newsletter. 
  • Harness the power of Canva to design compelling visuals, create captivating captions, and curate engaging content for our social media platforms.
  • Curate and oversee content calendars across various platforms, maintaining a seamless blend of brand partnerships, Bucket Listers partner events, and original content tailored for social media.
  • Foster close collaboration with our Business Development team to boost community engagement and promote event and experience bookings on our website.
  • Join forces with a dedicated team of freelance content creators to capture and showcase authentic, local experiences.
  • Cultivate impactful brand partnerships with esteemed companies such as Starbucks, Netflix, Disney, and local collaborators to enhance our reach and influence.
  • Develop and execute creative campaigns and initiatives to drive user engagement and brand awareness.
  • Innovate and enhance our community engagement methods, both online and in real-life experiences.
  • Manage a compact team of 1-2 members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to optimize performance and drive results.
  • Take ownership of your region to achieve designated objectives, with a keen emphasis on expanding audience reach and increasing pageviews.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Social Media/Content/Marketing experience in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
  • History of influencing senior-level business leaders to adopt best practices; dynamic interpersonal skills a must. 
  • Proven track record in successfully managing and expanding highly visible social media accounts.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for staying abreast of local events, news, and distinctive experiences in your city.
  • Expertise in social media reporting and analytics tools, utilizing data to inform and optimize content creation strategies.
  • Exceptional collaborative skills, adept at working with cross-functional teams, external partners, and customers to achieve common goals.
  • A deep-seated passion for fostering community through immersive experiences and meaningful exploration.
