What you will do
The Central Functions Manager will help drive results in the centralized functions for the Building Solutions North America (BSNA) business. The centralized functions include IT, Order to Cash, Real Estate and headquarter cost centers. This role will assist in the planning, forecasting and reporting of actuals, helping to ensure the appropriate booking of expenses and Capital Expenditures (Capex) as well as drive better management of the spend.

How you will do
  • Proactively works with the functions to improve actual financial results consistent with operating plan commitments and objectives.
  • Review and approve all IT related spend; project spend tracking to Plan/ Forecast
  • Assist in the financial/business planning and forecasting process for the functions, ensuring forecasts are accurate and updated on a regular basis to facilitate management's decision-making process.
  • Develops and reviews monthly financial results and KPI metrics.
  • Proactively identifies business/financial opportunities and corrective actions and implements them or communicates them to management for implementation.
  • Increases the financial and function performance awareness of non-financial employees through training on financial measurements and interrelationships, asset management techniques, planning, forecasting and control procedures.
  • Supports monthly management reporting and analysis. Develops financial material for function reviews as well as any BSNA and global reporting requirements.
  • Develops, where necessary, effective control procedures to supplement BSNA procedures. Monitors compliance with procedures.
  • Provides support for development and enhancement of IT financial and business systems.
  • Provides support for all accounting performed at the global business centers for the centralized functions.


What we look for
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 6+ years progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Ability to synthesize data, research, and analyses into simple, concise, accessible, and actionable insights
  • Advanced computer skills including HFM, Oracle, PowerBI, Microsoft Office products and financial reporting software
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

Desired
  • Public accounting and manufacturing industry experience
  • CPA
