Central Intake Processor

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, the Central Intake Processor is responsible for Policy Issue and Central Intake Scanning.  This position is 100% in office at our Addison, TX location.

Essential Functions

• Policy Issue:
  • Responsible for verifying the accuracy of the policy print with the application.
  • Prints applications for duplicate policies and POS mailings; assemble policies for mailing.
  • Understands and processes policies that need special handling (i.e. State specific requirements).
  • Maintains cross training within the department.
  • Verifies the policy is active prior to mailing.
  • Creates daily reports for policy prints.
  • Assists with Claims linking as needed.
• Central Intake Scanning:
  • Opens incoming mail
  • Sorts mail, scans and puts in proper workflow queue.
  • Releases jobs from workflow queue to be printed.
  • Assist with department requests and special projects as needed.
  • Responsible for back scanning as needed.
  • Manage files until ready to be purged.
• Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must possess knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, Excel, etc.
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Must have a proactive, positive attitude and is a team player
• Must be able to multitask effectively
• Must be flexible and adapts quickly to change
• Ability to organize tasks and time to ensure timely completion of all projects
