Central Operations Manager, Implementation

Chowbus is a fast growing, well-funded food startup headquartered in Chicago on a mission to help diners to discover new and exquisite dishes, and to give traditional mom and pop restaurants a fighting chance to succeed without compromising who they truly are. By building a super app, our goal is to be the one stop shop for everything related to food.

The Central Operations Manager, Implementation is responsible for initiating, driving and overseeing projects and initiatives related to the post-sales implementation process of our POS business. The role will seek to continuously improve the efficiency and customer experience of onboarding, installation and onsite support for our merchants, and oversee HQ driven projects. This role will work cross-functionally with sales and post-sales teams such as customer success, technical support and other Chowbus orgs to define processes, optimize operations, track KPIs and drive projects forward from start to finish. 

What You will Focus On

• Oversee HQ driven initiatives, such as the 3rd party technician program - Drive efficiencies, track KPIs, and coordinate with other stakeholder teams to continuously improve customer satisfaction
• Initiate, test, oversee and drive projects to completion. Work with other orgs and stakeholders to ensure projects are on track
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality our onboarding, installation and onsite support processes
• Liaise with technical subject matter experts to incorporate new installation processes, software and hardware into the implementation process

What You will Bring

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations, consulting, project management or working in a similar cross-functional role required
• Prior startup experience highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
