Description

We are looking for a talented Central Services Manager to join our team specializing in Purchasing and Maintenance for our Engine Business Unit in Jamestown, NY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Responsible for managing non-exempt employees across Indirect Materials and Reliability Maintenance Teams
• Evaluates consistent application of buying/sourcing procedures and processes.
• Analyzes complex sourcing and purchasing initiatives and processes in support of the delivery of cost effective and high-quality goods and services.
• Works and leads teams in the maintenance organization.
• Coaches predictive and preventative maintenance employees on basic procedures.
• Works with Facilities, Safety, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering on problem identification, trouble shooting, and equipment issue resolution and repair.
• Maintains spare parts and indirect materials inventory by using a computerized maintenance management system.
• Leads preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• BS Degree is preferred OR equivalent work experience will be considered
• A minimum of 5 years Purchasing and/or Maintenance experience
• A minimum of 5 years management experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to be flexible
• Computer savvy

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
