Responsibilities

Responsible for proper decontamination, inspection, sterilization and processing of all instrumentation/equipment according to manufacturer?s instructions for use

Job Title: CENTRAL STERILE PROCESSING (CSPD) TECH ASC -ASC Operating Rooms

Location: Springwoods Village

Department: ASC Operating Rooms

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $41,880 - $51,725 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: High School Diploma

Preferred: Graduate of an accredited central sterile processing tech program

Experience

Required: One year of experience as a sterile processing technician is strongly desired.

Preferred: Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience preferred.

Experience as a surgical technologist.

License(s)

Required: CPR

Preferred: Certified CSPD technician

Special Skills

Required: Basic computer skills

Preferred: N/A

Other

Required: Knowledge of AAMI & AORN standards and recommendations.

Clear understanding of sterilization process
