Summary of the role:

Are you the next Certification - Integration Specialist, SO we are looking for?

  • To support our strategic direction, we are establishing a world class certification office for our Sales and Events and Service Optimization Product Lines.
  • The mission of this office is to streamline processes and promote best practices for partner and customer integrations with varying degrees of complexity.
  • You will support the Hotel IT platform systems integration strategy.
  • You will be responsible for the discovery and analysis of customer and partner ecosystem, management of systems integration scope and flows, technical documentation, and service delivery management.
  • You will have customer facing responsibilities and will provide integration support using Amadeus web services standards and best practices.

In this role you'll:

  • Integration Design
  • In accordance with the certification framework:
    • Listens to customer/partner needs; consult and advise on potential design and consumption patterns to accomplish their business goal.
    • Drive scoping sessions; understand, analyze and document business and technical requirements.
    • Present functional walk-throughs and reference assets as necessary.
    • Capture and document the integration ecosystem, ensure that all services are mapped, and all integration workflows are designed.
    • Coordinate with all necessary teams to ensure high-quality integration solution design.
  • Customer and Partner Relationships
    • Develop and maintain high fidelity customers/partner rapport.
    • Listen to their needs, manage their expectations.
    • Communicate and align Amadeus certification activities with the customer/partner.
    • Uphold and elaborate upon the API strategy.
  • Delivery
  • Manage certification engagement(s) in autonomy.
  • Ensure the integration is in line with the customer/partner requirements.
  • Drive engagements through all phases of the certification lifecycle; ensure the highest quality deployments.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting practices during the QA (Quality Assurance) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) stages to drive the engagement through to successful completion.
  • Certify the integration is in line with Amadeus strategy and best practices.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree with between 5 to 10 years of experience in software development and/or business analysis.
  • Relevant Work Experience:
    • Work in the Hospitality Industry.
    • Familiarity with Amadeus Sales and Events and Service Optimization Products
    • Familiarity with Hotel Industry systems (Central Reservation, Property Management, etc.)
    • Experience managing system integrations
    • Software developer, business analyst, QA, solution manager, pre-sales, project manager.
    • Customer facing role.
    • Any work requiring both business and technical understanding in a customer facing environment.
  • Business Understanding:
    • Understanding of the challenges of companies working in complex ecosystems.
    • Understanding of Sales & Events Lifecycle (Lead generation and management to execution)
    • Understanding of the Hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Computing: Postman, Insomnia or other API Tools
    • Language: English
