Certified Montessori Teacher (ages 2-5)

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Montessori guide and assistant for the opening of a new toddler classroom. We are seeking both Spanish and English speaking guide and assistant for these positions. All candidates must have a Montessori Certification, 12 core ECE units, fingerprint clearance and all necessary requirements to work in a preschool.We are looking for a kind, warm, flexible and energetic person that has the ability to work with children in a respectful, nurturing manner. Candidates must be a team player, have strong work ethic, be confident, positive role model, creative, have strong written and verbal skills and be punctual. Must be able to ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times. Qualifications: - Montessori teaching certified. - Plan and implement the Montessori Curriculum. - Give appropriate presentations. - Good interpersonal skills are necessary. - Teacher should have the ability to work not only with children but with parents and other staff members as well. - Positive and open attitude toward children is a requirement. Responsibilities: - Responsible for preparation of classroom environment, materials and equipment. - Ensures that all materials are in good repair and all sets complete. - Develop and make materials when needed. - Plan and implement the Montessori curriculum. - Give appropriate presentations. - Promote good communication among staff members. - Ensure respectful and open lines of communication with parents.
