Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients during endoscopic procedures. This role requires a strong foundation in patient assessment, critical care, and anesthesia management, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process. Responsibilities • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing preventative and diagnostic procedures. • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. • Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort. • Manage airway interventions as necessary, demonstrating proficiency in airway management techniques. • Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and address any complications that may arise. • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards. • Provide pain management solutions tailored to individual patient needs. • Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge relevant to anesthesiology practice. • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic for efficient patient data management. • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills in geriatrics, pediatrics, and critical care. Requirements • Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). • Proven experience in anesthesiology settings. • Strong background in patient care, including experience administering injections and monitoring vital signs. • Familiarity with medical documentation practices and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. • Knowledge of pain management techniques and protocols. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
