Job description

Red Carpet Pharmacy is seeking an experienced and dedicatedCertified Sterile Compounding Pharmacistto serve asPharmacist-in-Charge (PIC). The PIC will be responsible for overseeing sterile compounding operations, ensuring compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards, and leading pharmacy staff in the delivery of safe, high-quality, and customized medications. This is a full-time leadership position offering competitive compensation and benefits in a growing pharmacy environment. Key Responsibilities: • Act asPharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations. • Oversee sterile compounding operations in compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards. • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Supervise and train staff in aseptic technique and sterile compounding procedures. • Perform quality assurance and documentation for compounded sterile preparations. • Manage pharmacy inventory, supplies, and compounding equipment calibration. • Coordinate with regulatory agencies during audits and inspections. • Oversee scheduling, staffing, and performance management for the sterile compounding team. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and deliver patient-specific formulations. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for patient safety, compliance, and workflow efficiency. Qualifications: • Education:Pharm.D. degree required. • Licensure:Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing. • Experience:Minimum of 5+ years in sterile compounding, with prior leadership/PIC experience preferred. • Skills:Strong knowledge of USP <797> and <800>, excellent leadership and communication skills, and proven ability to manage compliance and staff training. Compensation & Benefits: • Pay:$63.00– $65.00+ per hour (DOE). • Schedule:Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. • Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off • Liability insurance • Full-time, day-shift schedule Background Requirements: • Must successfully pass a background check, health screening, and drug screening.
