Certified Underwriter

Addison Group's client is seeking a Certified Underwriter to join their company in Washington, DC!

Job Description:

• Report to the Underwriting Manager
• Assist with retail operations activities
• Responsible for underwriting different types of project loans
• Ensure that all information associated with loan applications are accurate and compliant
• Assist internal staff with loan inquiries when the Manager is out of office

• Must be able to underwrite roughly 60 files per month
• Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Must have a customer-focused mindset
• Must be able to work collaboratively
• Must maintain professionalism
• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
