Job Description
Objective of the role
Leading our financial operations and contribute to our growth and success in the energy market. The CFO will also join the Management Board, playing a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the company.
Essential responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities of the company, ensuring robust financial health and alignment with business goals
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s objectives, including long-term financial planning and budget management
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the executive team and the Group
- Monitor and manage the company’s liquidity in coordination with the Group’s Treasury to ensure sufficient funds for operations and investments
- Assess and manage credit risk, developing policies and procedures to mitigate financial exposure
- Drive the automation of financial processes and enhance data management practices to improve efficiency and decision-making
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team
- Actively participate in the Management Board, contributing to the overall strategic planning and decision-making processes
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial role
- Solid background in the energy sector is highly appreciated
- Academic degree in Finance, Accounting. CPA or MBA preferred
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, automation of financial processes, data management, liquidity management, and credit risk management
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and leadership skills
- Fluency in Polish and English
