CGP: SR Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $45.00 to $50.00 per hour.Job Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, including credit card reconciliations • Assist with legal expense analysis and ensure accurate reporting • Support invoice filing and documentation processes • Serve as a backup for both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions • Perform other ad hoc accounting duties as assignedRequirements: • 5+ years of accounting experience in a public company environment • Show familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control procedures • Use Sage and Paycom software effectively; prior experience is a plus • Apply strong organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple tasks • Communicate clearly and work collaboratively across departmentsQualifications: • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting • Possess or be working toward CPA certification; CPA is preferred but not required • Exhibit strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy • Maintain discretion when handling sensitive financial information • Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to team success REF#50803 #Ind-LA-OC
