The Change Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned jobs, including day to day operations of Service Management including asset managements, change requests and incident management. The Change Analyst must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work closely with subcontractors and customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Works closely with Engineers, analysts, and QA Team supporting Service Management Processes. The candidate reports to the Service Management Supervisor.

  • Supporting the Change Control Management Process:
  • Running Change Approval Board (CAB) meetings
  • Contacting technicians to make any necessary updates to process change/work request tickets.
  • Creating reports to maintain management visibility and following up with engineering teams to verify procedures are understood and being followed.
  • Ensuring Emergency and Expedited work requests and Storm Notices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Sending weekly reminders to teams and managers
  • Supporting Asset Management Process:
  • Processing asset requests for field technicians, etc
  • Working with warehouse to distribute assets and ensure items on hand match records in Asset Management Database
  • Tracking field assets from purchase to disposal, including removable media, in compliance with cybersecurity and NERC-CIP regulations.
  • Assist with writing and editing internal Policy, Standards, and Procedures that comply with NERC-CIP, NIST, and other applicable regulations.
  • Work with Change Control and Asset Managers to learn and improve processes to the upcoming ServiceNow system.

Requirements

  • Understand ITIL and Service Management.
  • Work with the ServiceNow application with experience in light configurations and designing would help but not needed. The Experience in day to day operations of Service Management (Asset Mgmt, Change Request, Incident Mgmt).
  • Experience in gathering requirements
  • Solid date entry skills
  • Ability to be onsite 5 days a week
