Summary
About the Enterprise Organizational Change Management (EOCM) Team
The small-but-mighty Enterprise OCM team leads the people side of change for global strategic programs at Simplot. We contribute to the Idea to Implement process from Discovery through Implement and support a transition to Run.
We currently have an Organizational Change Management internship opportunity available at our headquarters in Boise, Idaho starting Fall 2023. An Organizational Change Management intern works with the Enterprise OCM team to provide support in all aspects of organizational change management. These efforts enable change by assisting the team to provide processes and tools that lead the people side of change and develop organizational change capability. This year long internship is available for up to 20 hours per week for Fall and Spring semesters, up to 40-hours per week during summer semester. Interns will be required to sign a non-disclosure statement. Pay is contingent upon class level.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Change Lead to:
- Shadow in meetings to put plans in the context
- Co-develop OCM plans and execute assigned tasks, such as drafting communications or PowerPoint slides.
- Adapt and evolve OCM plans as requested by the Change Lead
- Interview stakeholders to assist with measuring change capability
- Survey drafting, distributing, and analyzing
- Translate data for enterprise level analysis and reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Typical Education
Currently enrolled in a four-year program at an accredited university or pursuing a Master's degree.
Relevant Experience
- Have a basic understanding of Organizational Change Management
- Interested in applying your knowledge about OCM to a global context
- Can work collaboratively with a team
- Have empathy for people experiencing change
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple, in-flight tasks
- Can work effectively with teammates who may be in person and/or virtually.
- Proficient in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Teams
- Available to work during normal business hours, Mountain Standard Time

In addition to tasks supporting coordination and administration of LMS, interns are also assigned a project wherein they can assist in the design and rollout of a specific department program, process, or other offering.
