With substantial growth ambition in MARS Pet NA, we must ensure that change management protocols are established and embedded across the enterprise to manage all risks to the quality and food safety of the product we manufacture and sell. This role will develop a framework with which we will manage, approve and govern Q&FS changes to processes and products.
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 5 years (preferred 7+ years) of experience in a technical area such as R&D, product development, laboratory management, quality management systems, or food process engineering.
- And 3+ years' experience creating change management deliverables for successful program adoption.
- PROSCI or other change management certification
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Experience incorporating and leading change of projects or processes.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Act as the lead for high risk, strategic and regulatory change projects, or programs with significant Quality and Food Safety and/or Regulatory impacts
- Evaluate the impact of proposed changes using deployed change management tool and manage the risk associates with changes using the appropriate tool.
- Establish, coordinate, and govern change management plans and efforts to anticipate and gain more rapid awareness with associates and stakeholders who are impacted by the change, as well as identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation scenarios.
- Facilitation and training of change management to drive efficiency in transformational activities to ensure organizational performance, team effectiveness, governance practices, develop meaningful metrics, a develop a change progress monitoring system to support the OGSM in Quality and Food Safety.
- Effectively manage Change Management tasks (Q&FS) and ensure they are coordinated with the overall project plans and stakeholders.
- Assess the change impact by conducting impact analysis, assessing change readiness, ADKAR assessment and identifying key stakeholders for Quality and Food Safety
- Consult and coach project teams and associates on change management tools and processes across the Q&FS enterprise.
- Identify training needs, and partner with the Q&FS training coordinator to create Training Approaches for Q&FS and/or relevant stakeholders as aligned with Q&FS
- Create actionable deliverable for the five-change management levers, communication plans, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan for Q&FS enterprise projects.
- Be an active approver of Material risk Assessments (MRA) and Packaging Risk Assessment (PRA) for the Business unit.
- Perform change impact assessments and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner, with escalation to senior leaders through defined forums.
- Enable change management dimensions during large scale process changes (such as change to Quality Management systems, IT Quality facing systems, CAB, CVS, Raw Materials, and Innovation specific to Q&FS)
- Verification of changes that have been implemented from incident management process and lessoned learned from other segments.
- Be active in the rollout and deployment of Holistic Quality Risk Management
- Recommend changes in policies and procedures to establish and achieve goals and objectives related to risk management in Q&FS
- Design and execute Change Management deliverables for complex technical projects spanning multiple processes in the Q&FS management.
- Conduct internal audit of the sites change management programs (as requested for support).
- Roll-out and deploy effective change management tools that will step-change the manufacturing sites change management programs.
