The role of the Channel Account Executive is to provide support for Genetec partners and help them to execute account management strategies to drive sales and business growth. The Channel Account Executive is based in Singapore and will report to the Country Manager.Â
What your day will look like:
- Plan, forecast, manage and deliver consistent long-term profitable channel growthÂ
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key contacts within channel partner accountsÂ
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basisÂ
- Discover and track opportunities, follow up and distribute leads to Channel Partners and Account ExecutivesÂ
- Identify and coordinate technical training requirements to ensure partner successÂ
- Host Sales 101 training on Genetec tools and portalsÂ
- Utilize your expertise of the Genetec product portfolio to conduct customer demosÂ
- Coordinate the quarterly / annual channel business review processÂ
- Establish internal relationships within the sales team and communicate regularly with Account Executives to ensure top notch customer support through all levels of the organizationÂ
- Update and maintain data in CRM and other applicationsÂ
- Acquire, maintain, and report adequate knowledge of product, market and competitionÂ
- Work cross-functionally throughout the organization to deliver on company goalsÂ
- Responsible for Channel recruitment and mapping of solution, strength and industry vertical focus and align with Country Manager on strategic plansÂ
- To meet country manager sales objectives by building channel sales pipeline, preparing forecasts and budgets, analyzing variances between forecasts and budgets and actual sales and initiating corrective differentiationÂ
- Be the point of contact between internal team and partners through the entire onboarding process.Â
- Conduct regular business planning and review with focused partners, driving field activities from partners to promote business growth.Â
- Coordinate with Marketing team to conduct regular workshop and campaigns
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers on leads assignment, overseeing deal progression with partners.Â
- Ensure accuracy of channel database and pipeline updates in CRM.Â
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on Genetec’s product, roadmaps competition, pricing market share and key product differentiationÂ
- Stay abreast of the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends by, among other things, reading pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical servicesÂ
About you:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience, in Security or IT Industry, with VMS, Access Control, or PSIM systemÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication, Engineering or Computer ScienceÂ
- Experience in the security or IT industry with ability to maintain contacts at different levelsÂ
- Ability to work in a complex sales environmentÂ
- Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers, integrators, consultantsÂ
- Proven sales achievement / track recordÂ
- Excellent communicator either by phone, in writing or face-to-faceÂ
- Strong organizational and time management skillsÂ
- Ability to present information clearly and conciselyÂ
- Attention to detail and process orientedÂ
- Able to work independently within a team environmentÂ
- IP technology understanding and networking expertise will be considered an assetÂ
