Channel Account Manager (Signage)(Remote Opportunity)

Responsible for Sign Company channel partners, supporting B2B product portfolio, and reseller partner development projects. With a focus on growth of indoor and outdoor LED solutions (hardware, software, services) through Sign Companies, the role also leads efforts in cross selling other Samsung Display products to sign company channel partners. Responsibilities include development of growth strategies for sign companies within the geography (Northeast Territory), pricing architecture, cross channel product planning, forecasting and promotional planning. Role requires the establishment of effective working relationships with SEA account teams, HQ Product Teams, Marketing, Field Sales, and Finance to drive sustainable growth initiatives. Identify and develop new business opportunities and breakthrough growth for North American market. The primary function is to help drive demand for Samsung B2B product through SEA's Sign Company channel.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage Sign Company Reseller Partners to drive growth in B2B Product Portfolio
- Provides direction , Voice of Customer, and partner route to market needs to Product Management
- Involved with product planning, forecasting, Reseller strategies and initiatives.
- Reports key activities regarding sales, competitive position and customer issues.
- Develops positive working relationships at various levels of the customer organization and provides excellent customer service.
- Takes proactive initiative to improve customer satisfaction. Identifies new channels/sales opportunities and openly shares business development information and opportunities with account team members.
- Responsible for solving technical problems and responds to requests from internal and external customers.
- Makes decisions within guidelines and policies, and is accountable for the contributions of the Channel Team.
- When required assist Signage Channel Partner in closing end user customer business.
Skills and Qualifications
Background/Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of B2B2C Sales and with direct Customer Management experience.
- Leadership experienced preferred
- In depth knowledge of the Sign Company Channel and specific working knowledge of the business required.
- Experience in large scale indoor / outdoor installations preferred
- Ability to survey a project site and convey appropriate findings back for solution architecture preferred
- Experienced in sales operations, sell-through analytics, and executive level customer engagement.
- Work independently and travel up to 50% of the time.
- Negotiating large revenue sales opportunities
- Experience in CRM, such as Salesfroce.com
- Experienced reading, analyzing, and presenting technical product materials.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, and extensive experience in development and delivery of presentation materials.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels within customer's organizations. The ability to negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer leadership, directors and managers with opposing views to accept/approve plans, technical and project recommendations. The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple strategic programs and simultaneous performance objectives. The ability to write, read, interpret, explain and act based on a thorough understanding of technical documents, engineering materials and contracts or related documents. Ability to make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience of high technical skills, management and operational experience. Ability to support a cross-functional Samsung team to achieve customer contracted objectives and specific team goals within established time frames and requirements. Assist in and if needed direct the Samsung team in lab and field trials related to introduction of products sold to the customer.
Physical/Mental Demands:
Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between more than 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PC's, printers, copiers, faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position.
