Are you passionate about growing and developing new channel partnerships?
Arrow is looking for an individual who will take on a hunter role to grow our IBM Software business with new partners within the Enterprise Computing Solution (ECS) group of Arrow Electronics (Enterprise Computing Solutions | Arrow ECS NA.) The primary focus of our Channel Development Representative is to drive positive results for Arrow and IBM Software in three critical areas: Growing & Developing New Business, Demand Generation, and Partner Support
What you'll be doing
Growing & Developing New Business
  • Hunt for new partnerships
  • Proactively calls and engages potential new and established partners to grow sales for assigned accounts
  • Rebuilds underpenetrated and neglected partner relationships

Demand Generation
  • Drives sales growth through building new partner relationships
  • Focus on calling and engaging with new partners to grow our business with IBM Software
  • Leverages Arrow and vendor programs and promotions to progress a transaction through the sales cycle
  • Signs on new partners to the Arrow network

Partner Support
  • Manages vendor special pricing programs including submissions for pricing request and any data or program dependencies, tracking requests for approval
  • Processes quotes for specified customers and/or quote revisions for mass price changes, program changes or part changes
  • Prepare orders, from quote work if applicable, for submission based on receipt of the customers' purchase orders ensuring that all required information for accurate processing is included

What we're looking for
  • 4-year degree
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of successful technology sales experience (Distributor, Reseller, and/or Supplier)
  • Previous experience with Salesforce
  • Self-Starter, Gritty & Coachable

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$25.39- $34.86 + Commission
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
