Channel Enablement Manager - (open for remote)

As a Channel Enablement Manager at BlackBerry, you will be responsible for driving BlackBerry sales and pre-sales training and enablement initiatives for BlackBerry Resale & MSSP Channel Partners. This role will report directly to the Director of Sales Training & cross functionally into the SR Director of WW GTM & Programs, acting as the quarterback / coordinator with a global focus but having a cross-functional team to support them and help execute locally with the channel account managers and SEs in the regions (NALA, EMEA, APAC, JAPAN)

This role plays a key part in the development, implementation, and delivery of enablement and training programs globally, ensuring that BlackBerry channel partners are well-equipped with the content, training, knowledge of available resources, and core curriculum necessary to effectively position the value of and sell BlackBerry solutions. Additionally, this role will help develop effective on-boarding enablement programs to accelerate partners ramp to revenue.

This person should be self-starter with great communications and presentation skills and has a strong ability to understand the sales process and work collaboratively with a variety of roles within BlackBerry and with BlackBerry Partners globally.

Responsibilities include:
  • Work closely with the channel sales leaders to fully understand channel enablement requirements and develop strategy to address highest priority areas.
  • Manage and execute the partner enablement sales training programs & success metrics to accelerate partner-led BlackBerry sales and technical know-how.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts ensuring all content courseware for on-demand, live webinar, on site and annual partner summit is relevant to channel partner sales and SE organizations & supports the desired outcomes
  • Develop and manage BlackBerry pre-sales and sales certification programs to support revenue growth across VARs, Disti, and MSSP partners.
  • Work with sales, & CAMs to identify and select partners to invest in with higher value onsite sales & technical training.
  • Work with WW Programs team to develop and deliver webinar series to offer on-going training / enablement opportunities for partner sales teams to better sell full BlackBerry portfolio of solutions.
  • Be the voice of the partner within the enablement team so that channel requirements / standards are included in all sales and technical content so it can be used throughout the channel as well as field sellers.
  • Ensure all content is actively managed and maintained in the partner portal, and that all sales enablement tools and online training is easily and readily accessible at point of need.
  • Implement annual training calendar and logistical coordination for certifications, webinar series and on-site training and other enablement activities.
  • Ensure on-going tracking and management of training metrics to determine program effectiveness, lessons learned, and continuous recommendations for improvement.
  • Research trends and share industry best practices on enablement tools and processes


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience in adult learning principles, instructional design, and partner relationship management (PRM) software and/or learning management system (LMS) administration
  • Experience in understanding & creating sales & technical enterprise software sales content
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and launching training programs
  • Proven ability to effectively work with all levels including executive management
  • Proven ability to proactively drive complex, cross-functional business team deliverables
  • Advanced business analytic skills - able to derive business insights/opportunities from data
  • Excellent project management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence
  • 8+ years experience in sales & technical enablement and working with the channel ecosystem
  • Bachelors degree in business, education or related field
