What You’ll Do

Samsung’s Memory business is constantly creating and launching new products and exploring new business models and go-to-market approaches. The Staff Manager will work with strategic partners and internal product and marketing experts to craft solutions and implement scalable go-to-market strategies. The role involves customer interaction to uncover and understand emerging needs and requirements, and engagement with solution (software) partners to flesh out complete solutions. Initial focus will be on setting up sales channels for a new storage hardware-as-a-service offering, in collaboration with solution partners, system integrators, and managed service providers. You will also develop and manage the sales pipeline to meet revenue targets for the service offering. In addition, the role includes some business strategy and delivery of recommendations. There’s no playbook – experience in as-a-service sales, channel development, solution selling, innovative thinking, open-mindedness, persistence and clear communication are key to success.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

What You Bring

  • BS/BA degree and 10 years of experience, or an MS/MBA and 8 years of experience, or a PhD and 5 years of experience (Engineering/Science-focused preferred).
  • MBA or equivalent experience.
  • Deep experience in as-a-Service offerings (Software or Hardware).
  • Exposure to Memory/Storage market.
  • Experience with Cloud Services such as Azure or Amazon Web Services and/or Storage OEM a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent soft skills in collaborating with people of various disciplines, titles and viewpoints.
  • Fluent Written/Verbal English communication skills. Korean a plus.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range

$137,375—$212,625 USD
