The Channel Marketing Manager supports the Senior Manager, Channel Management,by creating and executing high-impact marketing programs with respectivecustomers or channels. This position is responsible for creating and executingeffective product launches, winning and protecting listings in line reviews,securing new promotional business, and may also be integral to thedevelopment of new products that will be sold. The position's responsibilitiesinclude analyzing and interpreting sales/profit, customer, consumer andcompetitive data to support daily decision-making as well as productplanning. This position is a key partner to the sales and product managementteams helping drive significant business growth.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Coordinatewith product teams to maintain accurate product data (i.e. BOM's, images,features & benefits, pricing) and identify relevant VOC and to successfullytarget new products and programs to meet end-user needs.
  • Workclosely with product teams to effectively launch new products and productpromotions.
  • Createand drive marketing programs to meet strategic growth objectives and to growsales among customers (via push programs) and end-users (via pull programs).
  • Monitor/trackand analyze the effectiveness of programs to support reporting, coursecorrections and decision-making.
  • Activelyseek out and understand customer and end-use consumer VOC through regularcustomer contact.
  • Workclosely with sales to customize programs to meet the needs of key customers.
  • Trackand maintain spending within approved promotional budgets.
  • Ensurecompliance with branding graphic, trademark and communication guidance.
  • Drivekey business opportunity projects as assigned.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or businessadministration preferred.
  • Three to five years marketing experience.
  • Experience in initiating and buildingmutually beneficial marketing relationships with third parties and or externalpartners is a plus.
  • Proven ability to deliver data-drivenresults, analysis, testing and application of findings.
  • Credibility to influence and impress atsenior level and represent the company in all types of business situations.
  • Excellent presenter (internal staffmeetings, customer meetings, etc) with strong written and oral communicationskills (emails, flyers, conference calls, etc)
  • Selling or customer contact; experience withdistribution.
  • End user work and new product introductionexperience.
  • Strategic planning experience.
  • Cross-functional team management.
  • Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);database skills a plus.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changingsituations.
  • Very hands-on - able to dive into and managethe details, as well as provide overall strategic thinking and leadership.
