Channel Marketing Manager, Electronic Access Control
The EAC Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for working with the Senior Channel Marketing Manger to research, plan, develop, and execute strategies, programs, promotions and campaigns to drive growth of designated solutions, within designated channels.
Qualified candidates will work cross functionally across the organization and most closely with product teams, go-to-market teams, channel sales teams and marketing teams to deliver content and tools that drive growth. Specifically, the EAC Channel Marketing Manager will help manage and drive the success of our Electronic Access Control portfolio including Schlage Credentials, Readers, Electronic Locks, System Components, mobile applications, technology alliances and access control software. They will work collaboratively on Allegion's go to market activities, while empowering other Channel Marketing Managers to similarly drive commercialization of Allegion's EAC solutions and services in their respective channels. This position will also work closely with functional leaders of brand, digital and training as needed for strategy and execution.
This position is a key touch point between Allegion and our National Electronic Sales members ensuring the successful adoption of solutions and services that support the mission of seamless access.

What You Will Do:
- Implement our mobile strategy within assigned channels working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Oversee communications to our commercial electronics stakeholders including assigned sales team roles and sales leadership
- Work with email marketing manager to produce, test, and schedule emails
- Participate in marketing planning calls with alliance partners as needed
- Event management of select tradeshows including pre-show, during show and post show communication strategies.
- Develop understanding of channel segments, decision maker personas and corresponding needs to communicate to broader internal organization, including new product development (NPD) initiatives.
- Proactively work with channel sales leaders to identify resource gaps, develop strategies and implement improvement solutions.
- Understand and leverage business, channel and market dynamics that drive Allegion product selection and growth opportunities
- Be the voice of the go-to-market needs of the respective channel within the organization and with external parties as needed.
- Identify growth opportunities through coordinating Voice of the Customer studies, market analysis; customer needs assessments and competitive analysis. Develop insights through these efforts that feed into our product & business strategy development, including digital solutions.
- Design and creation of new materials and tools in support of adoption in seamless access from Allegion, including, collateral, competitive positioning, training materials, sales enablement materials, business support and digital solutions, working cross functionally.
- Collaborate within field marketing channels in executing plan to support product positioning and branding initiatives.
- Support development of strategic plans for current year and 3-year plan for commercial electronics portfolio
What You Need to Succeed:
- 5+ years of marketing and/or program management experience
- Strong marketing competencies, including business and market analysis
- Demonstrated expertise in value proposition creation
- Collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions (IT, product, sales, etc.)
- Excellent personal leadership and change management skills
- Excellent ability to represent the Company externally and build alliances
- Excellent business acumen
- Solid understanding of multi-step distribution and indirect channel sales
- Strong attention to details and strong project management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Results-oriented with proven execution skills
- Able to work on complex tasks independently while collaborating with others
- Works well under pressure or in a high growth, fast paced environment that is constantly changing
- Experience managing events or events communication a plus
- Bachelor's degree
- Travel: 25%
- Position will be based out of Carmel, Indiana; but there is flexibility to live within the Eastern time zone and work remote.
