Channel Marketing Strategist Responsibilities:
The Channel Marketing Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive sales through Zayo's channel partners. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product and Vertical marketing teams, sales team, sales enablement team, and other marketing teams to ensure that our channel partners have the necessary tools and resources to effectively sell and market Zayo's products, solutions, and services.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Revenue Marketing.
Minimum qualifications
Base pay range: $65,500 - 96,000, commensurate with experience

- Drive channel growth and build brand awareness with Zayo's channel partners
- Responsible for creating the strategy, planning, and execution of partner marketing initiatives and programs that grow channel leads, opportunities and revenue
- Work collaboratively with channel sales leadership, marketing teams, sales enablement and sales teams to design, build, support, and accelerate all channel activities including (but not limited to) product training, partner communications, newsletters, and webinars
- Own Partner website and portal messaging and content
- Manage Partner Advisory Board including communications cadence and annual in-person meeting
- Create partner-ready demand creation co-marketing programs designed to drive new opportunities into the pipeline
- Develop effective marketing and sales collateral - using both internal and agency resources - for use on the website and in campaigns
- Analyze program results and make recommendations for future improvements
Minimum qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a high-tech B2B marketing, with at least 1 year experience in channel marketing/programs
- Solid understanding of channel marketing programs
- Strong writing skills and basic understanding of content marketing best practices
- Deep experience working with channel partners. Knowledge of partners, how they think, why they act, and how to help them be successful.
- Experience running campaigns and programs that directly contributed to pipeline and revenue growth
- Exceptional quantitative and problem solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
- "Test and learn" mindset - comfortable taking calculated risks
- Detail oriented and strong cross-functional program management skills
