The Channel Sales Account Representative will support the Channel Sales Account Manager who supports our distribution partner, Fastenal. They will have the opportunity to handle a large volume of interactions and provide paramount service and support to a variety of operations within the company including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service. We are looking for ambitious, organized, and savvy people looking to make an impact on this fast-growing organization.
LOCATION
HexArmor Headquarters – 640 Leffingwell Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide over-the-phone support for customers on matters including inventory, pricing, product information
- Facilitate sales interactions between Fastenal and the HexArmor sales team
- Build and maintain relationships with contacts at different levels of Fastenal including product management, exclusive brands team, marketing, supply chain, and operations
- Consistent touch point with multiple groups of Fastenal contacts:
- Sales Development Team, Customer Service Consultants, Onsite Team, and Safety Specialists
- Plan quarterly touch points for the Channel Sales Account Manager with Strategic Account Safety Specialists, Regional Safety Sales Managers, and Directors
- Support HexArmor with opportunity needs:
- Sample order entry and tracking follow ups, Sample kits, Marketing materials, and CRM (Salesforce) management
- Supporting Global Accounts Team on Fastenal opportunities and end users
- Increase revenue through the development of specific account plans to include product presentations, marketing initiatives, promotional programs, and trade show plans
- Keep customer information and activity up to date in CRM (Salesforce) database
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of sales/account management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate-advanced skill level preferred in Excel
- Excellent Soft Skills – self-motivated, proactive, and verbal/written communication skills
- Self-management - Able to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to succeed in a high-pressured, fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Salesforce and Tableau is a plus
TRAVEL
- Up to 10% travel throughout the year
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary + 10% Annual Performance Bonus
