As our Channel Sales Manager, you'll be taking responsibility for driving and supporting partner led sales opportunities and converting them into new business through assigned channel partners, resellers and distributors. You'll be reporting to our Director of Channel Sales.

You will possess a solution-oriented, consultative sales approach. You will develop strong trust-based relationships with your partners and their customers, and you will evoke inspiration in those around you and encourage them to create their best work. You'll always work toward the group's best interests and have unwavering personal integrity and work ethic.

Key Objectives

Objective #1: Assume quota responsibility across assigned partner accounts

  • Build, cultivate, grow, and develop assigned partners into high-performing, fully self- sufficient providers of Decisions licenses and services.
  • Build specific, measurable growth initiatives aligning with the partner business strategy.
  • Assist your partners with the completion of RFIs/RFPs as necessary.
  • Provide your partners with quote assistance and help scoping opportunities for required professional services.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships at the executive level with assigned partners.

Objective #2: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop partner-specific marketing and lead-generation programs

  • Measurement and analysis of channel programs, promotions, and other activities.
  • Create customized "go to market" plans for each partner to grow accounts and procure sales.
  • Assist in planning various webinars and events to support the Channel team.

Objective #3: Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports

  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.
  • Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations on forecasting and creating new lead opportunities.

Requirements

Specialized requirements

  • 4+ years' experience in quota-based software channel sales.
  • Experience in Channel/Partner Management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the typical partner ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and/or exceeding revenue objectives, especially for revenue sourced through the channel.
  • Experience working with Salesforce (CRM) and report building.
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.
  • Experience in analyzing performance to identify areas of improvement and optimization.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
