MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:

Military Grades: 03/CPT - 04/MAJ

Compatible Military Assignments: 52R3

- Applicants need not be assigned to the position or possess the AFSC to apply or be considered for selection. Selected applicant must be assigned to a compatible Military position and attain AFSC within 1 year of appointment action.

- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.

- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.

- Must maintain membership in the WA Air National Guard for continued employment.

-Must be ordained by a religious faith group or denomination that is recognized by the Department of Defense Armed Forces Chaplain Board

- Must be meet physical standards; and be otherwise qualified to serve as commissioned officers

- For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.

- Must possess or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance within one year of appointment.

- Position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.

- Must have ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.

- Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.

- The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environment. You are responsible to maintain awareness of your environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, your organization, and its changing mission.

******This position may be designated mission essential based on local conditions. Mission essential personnel report for duty at normal times when the base is closed or delayed reporting and remain on duty during phased or early release. ****
