The Role

We're looking for a passionate, inquisitive, and player/coach of fast paced full stack software engineer team that has deep knowledge on a wide range of web technologies to join the Workplace Consulting's Digital Solutions Technology Team. Workplace Consulting's Digital Solutions Technology Team is responsible for building and maintaining digital product offerings, custom client digital solutions and FWC's infrastructure.

You will blend your strong software development skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing associates. You are deeply committed to improving the value delivered to our customers. You will collaborate with other leaders to establish the standards for the teams, influence the strategic decisions, set work priorities, develop custom client software solutions, and support the production environment based on your software development expertise and experience. You will directly lead a team of 6 - 10 software engineers who primarily work within autonomous teams across the group but report directly to you. You are a servant leader dedicated to helping them grow and develop in their knowledge and ensure alignment on the "how" of the work they perform. You are also committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to bring the latest thinking to your role to empower others with that knowledge.

The Skills You Bring

• Minimum of 15+ years of software engineering, development, and technical leadership experience
• BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineer field or equivalent experience
• Proven hands-on experience working with Node.js, NPM, Angular 10+, HTML5, CSS3, Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, Python, Azure SQL, MySQL, Maven or Ant, Git, REST
• Cloud -Azure (certified preferred)
• QA automation technologies
• Implementation and working experience with MySQL and SQLMI Database
• Proven experience with writing automated tests (unit, integration, etc.), and experience following Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience in a consulting or fast-paced environment

Any combination of the following is a plus:

• Experience on Kubernetes/Helm/Ingress
• Experience with Snowflake and or Metadata
• Experience or exposure to Docker and other cloud technologies like EC2, S3, VPCs, CloudFront, on-demand instances
• Experience with PHP and Drupal 9
• Proven experience with the Agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodology,
• Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) Pipeline
• Hands-on experience with the API Design & Development and Micro Services Architecture
• Experience with UI and UX design
• Familiarity with Agile (Chapter, Squad) roles
