Chargeback Specialist

Grow your career as a Chargeback Specialist within ALGV, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role you'll focus on mitigating risk for the organization through successful chargeback resolution, fraud detection and implementation of tools and resources to minimize loss. They will effectively communicate resolution with customers and travel agents.

A successful a Chargeback Specialist will:

• Eliminate loss through effective investigation of consumer and travel agent chargebacks.
• Assess losses and adhere to policies prior to expense write offs
• Work closely with outside sources including travel agents and suppliers to investigate issues
• Work closely with Forter, SmartClaims, NCR., Merlink, American Express and Discover through portal applications

A successful a Chargeback Specialist will have:

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Chargeback and/or travel industry experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Problem-solving skills and use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, and an approach to issues
