The Position
As a member of our team at HeinOnline you will be involved in obtaining content that will be digitized for our core product, HeinOnline.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilizing our project management software to maintain your workflow and to collaborate with co-workers.
- Communicating with outside parties to request copies of new content and on returning any borrowed content
- Entering new bibliographic information into our database
- Maintaining the records for the content as it flows throughout facility
- Updating our database on content as needed
- Reviewing copyright on new titles to ensure we are permitted to host the new materials
- Checking embargos of volumes
- Opening and processing mail related to new materials (books, Journals, periodicals) we will be adding to HeinOnline
- Performing various audits and reports as requested
Qualifications
Desired Skills, Abilities, & Interests:
- Building strong relationships with various vendors
- Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute
- An affinity towards routine and repetitive work.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma
- Experience working in an office setting performing data entry tasks
- Experience dealing with customers and/or vendors
Other Position Information
Schedule
Monday – Friday
7:30am to 4:00pm
Additional schedule options are available upon completion of training.
Salary
$20.55-$21.55
