Overview:

Ensures orders are processed in accordance with the Boar's Head's customer service standards. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a warehouse, distribution center, or meat processing facility. Works without close supervision; typically reports to a lead, supervisor, and/or manager.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Assuring Weight is within allowed tolerance on all pallets/orders.
• Rejecting pallets/orders that do not meet specifications.
• Counting product/cases per pallet physically and noting quantities on the packing slip.
• Responsible for making sure that all pallets are in acceptable condition.
• Ensuring that all pallets/orders are properly labeled and accompanied with all the required documentation.
• Communicating all product shortages to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Keeping workstation in a clean and safe condition.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have strong desire to accept responsibility, show initiative and be a team player.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with other workers throughout the plant.
• Must be able to communicate with Management, Supervision and Leads.
• Experience in computer data processing.
• Some knowledge in packaging material weights and product description.
• Knowledge of product preferred.
