Job Description : 50% - Prepares and cooks authentic Thai foods and dishes using the unique recipes 20% - Instruct cooks and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of Thai dishes 10% - Prepare sauces, soups, roasts and other items that need a lot of time to cook 20% - Performs the following duties:  Train other locally hired cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of Thai dishes;  Collaborates with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers;  Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met;  Checks the quantity and quality of received products;  Demonstrates new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staffs;  Determines how food should be presented, and creates decorative food displays;  Determines production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services;  Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations; and  Arrange equipment purchases and repairs Salary: $50,690/year Requirement: 24-36 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2-3 years of experience in Thai cooking).
