Key Responsibilities
As Chef de Cuisine, you will:
β’ Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
β’ Design and execute a menu that highlights Mediterranean and Central Italian flavors.
β’ Prepare and perfect handmade doughs, pasta, and other signature dishes.
β’ Oversee ingredient sourcing and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality.
β’ Train, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team to uphold culinary standards.
β’ Maintain budgets, control food costs, and minimize waste.
β’ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
β’ Develop solutions for challenges such as staffing, supply chain issues, or operational inefficiencies.
β’ Collaborate with ownership on menu development, seasonal specials, and long-term strategy.
What Weβre Looking For:
β’ Proven experience as a Chef in a high-quality restaurant setting.
β’ Expertise in Coastal and/or Central Italian cuisine, with strong dough and pasta-making skills.
β’ Deep understanding of kitchen operations, including cost control and inventory management.
β’ Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
β’ Passion for creativity and innovation in the kitchen.
β’ Strong commitment to maintaining high standards in quality and presentation.
β’ Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
