Chef - Kitchen Manager
Job Description
We are hiring for a Chef/Kitchen Manager .
Requirements:
Schedules and coordinates the work of Kitchen Staff to ensure that food preparation is perfect
Adheres to specifications of recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation assuring high consistency
Regularly creates unique dishes and menu items for daily features and specialty events.
Provides immediate supervision of all back of house employees.
Oversees staff performance, productivity, and training to expect the best from our team.
Participates in employee hiring and discipline
Ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained through all kitchen areas at all times
Bi-lingual a plus!
Primary requirements:
3+ years of Chef or Kitchen Manager experience in an high volume dining environment
The ability to interpret and manage recipes to ensure compliance and minimize waste
Excellent attention to detail
Working the Line daily alongside BOH staff
Salary based on Experience.
