Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, ensuring that dishes are consistently delicious and visually appealing.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict food safety and handling guidelines.
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet high-volume kitchen demands, while minimizing waste and ensuring that all ingredients are used efficiently.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared in a timely and coordinated manner.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Assist with menu planning and inventory management, ensuring that the kitchen has the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work with a variety of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Excellent knife skills and experience with kitchen knives.
- Familiarity with dietary department guidelines and the ability to prepare dishes that cater to various dietary needs and restrictions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes consistently.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive kitchen culture.

* Must be able to work weekends and evenings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.02 - $25.00 per hour
